. . . their corpse-men plunder
only the bones of a dream
while their watch towers
Excerpt from Anatomy of a dream
In ’75, my dream was of a fresh-faced new order, a dusted and scrubbed world where everyone rests every seventh day, takes seven weeks holiday every seven months and debts are cancelled every seventh year. We banish poverty and open the gates to justice for all regardless of colour, gender, sexual orientation, creed, physical or mental impediment. Employees are treated in the same way we all like to be treated. We care for everyone in need, the widow, the orphan and the crippled stranger and dignity for everyone is assured. Capitalism withers from neglect as spiritual values are at the heart of society and in everything we do.
