Music #Nine Inch Nails and Twin Peaks

The word according to David Lynch and Trent Reznor.

In 1990, the global population of human beings was 5,309,667,698 (7,758,156,792 today).

1990 was a busy year: ARPANET, a forerunner of the Internet system, used primarily as a means by which academics exchanged information, was officially decommissioned. At roughly the same time, Tim Berners-Lee created the first broad-net server which became the foundation of the World Wide Web.

In September, ARCHIE, the first internet search engine, was introduced. Ever since, searching for nine inch nails in haystacks or between the twin peaks of Betelgeuse has become so much more fun with a search engine, Google, named after a massive number (googol) though tragically misspelled, mispronounced and almost entirely impossible to fathom or prove. Ever.

Twin Peaks is an American mystery horror drama television series created by Mark Frost and David Lynch that premiered on April 8, 1990, on ABC. Though it endured only two seasons, Twin Peaks has often been listed among the greatest television series of all time.
