“Rain measures the depth of sorrow.”
Uriah Heep is a fictional character created by Charles Dickens in his 1850 novel David Copperfield. Obsequious to the extreme, Heep harbours a secretive black heart. Unlike Uriah Heep the character, the quintessentially British rock band are brilliant songwriters and a massively under rated band of musicians. Their first album released in 1970 Very ‘Eavy, very ‘Umble sold more than 40 million copies worldwide.
